Definitely needed the run. I've barely done cardio (besides biking to and from class) for nearly 2 weeks. :\ posted by d at 2:56 PM |

Ok, for awhile I didn't know what I was going to do after I graduate -- I had options, but I've been juggling some choices around. After some extensive thought since January, and happenings, I've got it worked out.
I'm going to work full time for a bit. It's pretty much official, I talked to my boss about it today.
For a month or two, I'll work as a developer, maintaining, managing, overseeing some open source projects/products. While doing this, I'll take some training courses provided by my company. Meaning traveling around CA or out of state for a few days every now and then for training. This is in preparation to becoming an engineer. Once an engineer, I'll be working externally, consulting, working with clients, which will require traveling around the nation and maybe at times outside the country.
I figure becoming an engineer will expose me to a lot of different applications and environments (tech speaking) and doing this will give me a better understanding of what to focus on in my studies when I go to grad school later.
Get paid to travel!
After grad school, I hope to find a decent place in the bay area.
Still so much to do and look forward to after college. I'm glad, and excited. posted by d at 11:12 PM |

Human sexuality test question:
Q: "Summarize the main points in the oral sex mannerism lecture" My A: "Don't use your partner's ears as handle bars."
I should've added, "don't fart" also.
I have no idea what they were looking for, I missed that lecture.
The knacks of going to college and choosing a, well, I want to avoid using the term "useless" major... but i'm not exactly sure what other euphemism I can substitute it with.
I heard this while browsing around downtown:
"Ooh, you just graduated? Where do you work now?"
"As a waitress for a cocktail bar." posted by d at 4:41 PM |
There's three drunk guys outside my window downstairs. One guy is holding him back from fighting the other guy. posted by d at 1:35 AM |

I'll be canceling this blog near graduation or after graduation (i.e. in a couple of months). I feel 5 years of posts have been a good run and my photoblog is more than enough to share part of my small adventures, however the main reason is that I feel i'm getting a bit too old for this as I start new chapters in life.
My chinese blog will continue to serve its purpose to help me practice. However I may be stopping that sometime in the not so far future as I have a number of people already to talk in chinese on msn. :) posted by d at 12:39 AM |
